Hispanic Community Outreach Internship

This internship may include some or all of the following:

  • Plan and publicize Spanish-language nutrition and prevention community education events
    • Help develop a Spanish-language recipe book and other educational materials
    • Identify distribution channels for our Spanish language books
    • Organize and publicize healthful Spanish-language cooking classes
    • Serve as  Hispanic community ambassador in local schools, churches, and community centers
    •  Identify sources for and solicit sponsorships from the Latino business community  

    All interns will participate in regular progress meetings with CACE supervisors and keep detailed records of all their project-related activities.  Our Internship Program is active year round with full-time and part-time positions available for summer or the fall or spring semesters.
