The
Center for Advancement in Cancer Education is a national
not-for-profit cancer information, counseling and referral agency.
For nearly three decades, the Center has had an unwavering
commitment to provide prevention education through lifestyle
training, and to offer nutritional, immunological and psychological
resources for diagnosed patients.
What is unique about the Center is our whole-person approach
that allows us to focus on primary prevention, not just early
detection, and on all aspects of the diagnosed patient –
nutritional, immunological, emotional and environmental – rather
than just the tumor.
The
Center has offered individualized services through its National
Call Center to over 27,000 cancer patients seeking integrative,
complementary, and alternative medical options. Furthermore, through
its National Awareness Campaign, the Center has provided
prevention education to tens of thousands more.
The
South Florida Friends of the Center works with groups,
organizations, synagogues, churches and companies to provide cancer
prevention education programs. For more information on how to
schedule a prevention program contact Eddie Miller, Board Chair, at
eddie@uhgroup.com or
305 807 4545.
